We recently caught up with super hottie Ashley Kimel, a model originally from Hendersonville, North Carolina, but based out of Charlotte currently.
How did you first get started in modeling?
A photographer approached me and wanted to start a portfolio for me. I modeled part time for a couple of years and do it full time now.
Wow, you're quite photogenic. Any other plans besides modeling?
I do hair and make up for other models for photo shoots. I also plan to go to culinary school.
What do you do during weekends?
I normally work weekends in this industry a lot of shooting goes on during weekends. If I'm not working I like to catch up w/ friends, maybe cook dinner, watch a movie, have a bottle of wine. I travel a lot so it's nice to relax.
What do you look for in a guy?
Men, wow... where do I start. Personality-wise I like men that are independent, self sufficient, have strong sense of themselves, motivated in life, compassionate... I guess prince charming basically. Physically I don't have a certain type, but I like men that are 'well kept'. I don't want to be with a slob!
Best places to travel?
I don't have a favorite place to travel, I travel a lot, but I haven't found 'my spot' yet. I love Houston though, it's my favorite so far. The top of my list of places to go to is Spain, mainly Barcelona.
Like any sports?
I'm no sports fanatic, but I do like to watch football when I get the chance. I also like UFC, those guys are unbelievable!
How do you stay in shape?
I go to the gym to stay in shape. I do mostly weight training and a little cardio. I also try to eat healthy most of the time. We all cheat a little!
What kind of music do you enjoy?
I listen to such a variety of music, I don't have a favorite right now. I like some r&b and hip hop. I like all the 80's hair bands and some of the 'bubble gum' 80's music everyone knows. I also like southern rock, and old school country music.
If you could start with any actor, who would it be?
I would probably want to a romantic comedy, because I'm sucker for those. (pauses) Owen Wilson. He's hilarious!
